Minor league managers named

Brian Graham, Pittsburgh's Director of Player Development, announced the minor league managerial and coaching assignments for the 2007 season today. There's plenty of familiar names, including Trent Jewett, who will be at the Triple-A level for his 10th season.

Also, managing the State College Spikes will be Turner Ward. I always liked his style of play when he was around, though it was only for a short ime.

Turner ward as in the same Turner Ward who ran through the outfield wall at Three Rivers?

Haha, good luck to him out in State College.

Ha, I remember that. He was always giving it his all. I think he'll be a decent manager.
