Arizona Fall League (Update)

Check this story on the Pirates official site about how the other Pirates did/are doing in their respective fall and winter leagues.

Since our blog is off to a late start in the off-season, I'll post up numbers from the Pirates prospects that took part in the Arizona Fall League this season. The league plays home to many of the game's top prospects and provides, typically, the toughest challenge for each kid thus far in their respective career.

RHP Jesse Chavez was named to the all-prospect team after finishing 3-0 with 4 saves and 0.64 ERA in 12 games.
LHP Dave Davidson (2-2, 5.17 ERA - nine games, three starts)
LHP Josh Shortslef (0-1, 2.65 ERA - six games, five starts)
RHP Brian Rogers (2-0, 0.00 ERA - six games)
C Neil Walker (.290 AVG, 0 HR, 8 RBI - 18 games)
1B Brad Eldred (.231 AVG, 1 HR, 8 RBI - 18 games)
2B Craig Stansberry (.128 AVG, 1 HR, 9 RBI - 22 games)
