For what it's worth: The Macon Telegraph is reporting that a deal of Paul Maholm and Jose Castillo for Adam LaRoche is on the table. But this report also says that it is on "life support" because of Littlefield's desire to not trade one of his young starters.

Make it happen Dave! This is still a good trade for the Buccos. Can someone explain to me why Maholm is untouchable because I just don't understand why?
To me, when you've lost for as many seasons as the Pirates have, no one should be untouchable at the right price.
